Techsters traveling to this Silicon Valley city can catch the light rail to "a station in front of this hotel", just a mile-and-a-half from the airport though "away from Downtown" and in a "somewhat seedy part" of San Jose; miffed surveyors sniff this one needs an "overall face-lift" since beds are "uncomfortable", there's often "mildew in the bath", plus service is sometimes "rude" at the front desk and "poor" in the "very average" restaurant.

Shower water pressure, and additional fee for internet in room.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious, and a great deal! It was nice that the city tram was located directly across the street as well. The only thing I was unhappy with was that they had free wireless internet access in the general lobby, but it was an additional fee to access it from the room. Location is good.

They said they had a hotel shuttle from the airport, but made me call them back twice, then told me to take a cab, and they reimbursed me.

Rooms were more like a 2.5 star.

Mold in the bathroom.

The room wasn't clean - stain on the carpet, cigarette burn on the blanket, mold on the shower curtain and around the fixtures in the bathroom. Was offered a free breakfast to make up for it, but mold in the bathroom is a killer for me. ...read more
